Grenoble Gospel Singers and their Musicians to perform with South African choirs

as part of the Building Bridges Gospel Tour

Hailing from the Alps, France, the Grenoble Gospel Singers (GGS) and their Musicians ensemble gathers 120 Gospel enthusiasts and amateurs from all over the world. Open to all who seek to connect through a musical experience, the GGS prides itself in the diversity of its members which is reflected on all levels: age, gender, culture, social class and religion. Headed by Frank AkoaM’va (Cameroon), the choir performs songs from a traditional and contemporary repertoire.

 

The GGS has already been exposedinternationally with tours in Cameroon, the United States of America and Europe. This time, 59 singers will come to South Africa (Gauteng and Polokwane) for ten days in April 2014 to perform with Meadowlands SDA Youth Choir, VUT Youth Choir, Ubuhle Buka-Zulu as part of their Building Bridges Gospel Tour, which is all about meeting South Africans and sharing their love of music.

 

Performance dates in South Africa

Monday 28 April at 3PM - Diepkloof Hall, Soweto (with SDA Youth Choir)
Tuesday 29 April at 6PM - Regina Mundi, Soweto, (with VUT Youth Choir and Ubuhle Buka Zulu dancers) 

  • Wednesday 30 April at 7.30PM - Waterfall Cove Wedding Venue (with VUT Youth Choir and Ubuhle Buka Zulu dancers
