Concert Charles X - From biting rap to sensual soul music

Charles X is as old as the era he worships. 26 years old, Dales Anthony Doss, A.K.A Charles X, seems straight out of the dawn of the 90s, in the middle of hip hop's golden age (A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets) and of nu soul (D'Angelo, Maxwell). Except that the Californian does not settle between the rap flow and the soul crooning... After an astounding mixtape (Beats And Beast, in 2013), a smacking first album (The Revolution... And The Day After, in 2015), his new album, Sounds Of The Yesteryear, is more soul than ever.

This 26 year old Los Angeles native has just broken into the international spotlight by completing his first European tour (Comedy Club in Paris, Sakifo Music Festival in La Reunion, Les Invites De Vileurbannes..etc).

Teamed up with Indie label, Tentacule Records (Bordeaux, France) and publishing from Alter-K (Paris), the one who named himself “X” is ready to make his footprints in the world. Known for his showman skills and soulful, old school style, Charles X captivates his crowd and always leaves them wanting more. Expect anything, from biting rap to sensual soul music.

As part of his Indian Ocean Tour, Charles X will be in concert in Cape Town and Pretoria:
