ABOUT PASCAL GALLET

Like many gifted musicians Pascal Gallet was a precocious talent, having entered the prestigious Paris Conservatory at a very young age, and amassing a slew of international prizes soon after graduating. This early success catapulted him into an international career as a soloist which enabled him to work with some of the world’s most esteemed orchestras. Mr. Gallet's wide and renowned experience as a teacher inspired him to take on the noble mission of democratizing classical music in order to make it more accessible to younger people.

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL MOZART FESTIVAL - JANUARY 27th to FEBRUARY 7th 2016

Now in its 8th edition the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival theme this year is Alla Turca (in the Turkish style). It will reflect oriental and exotic influences in a colourful variety of composers from our Classical patron to the present day.
