LIVE CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT: Pascal Gallet

 

 

 

In partnership with the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival, the French Institute of South Africa is proud to welcome acclaimed classical French pianist Pascal Gallet on his very first visit to South Africa.

 

Pascal Gallet will be in concert on January 29th at the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival in Norhwards House. Furthermore he will also be performing at the Etienne Rousseau Theatre in Sasolburg on January 28th.

 

Whether you're a complete novice, casual listener or absolute lover of classical music you don't want to miss this superb occasion to experience live one of France's great musical gems.

ABOUT PASCAL GALLET

 

Like many gifted musicians Pascal Gallet was a precocious talent, having entered the prestigious Paris Conservatory at a very young age, and amassing a slew of international prizes soon after graduating. This early success catapulted him into an international career as a soloist which enabled him to work with some of the world’s most esteemed orchestras. Mr. Gallet's wide and renowned experience as a teacher inspired him to take on the noble mission of democratizing classical music in order to make it more accessible to younger people.

 

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL MOZART FESTIVAL - JANUARY 27th to FEBRUARY 7th 2016

 

Now in its 8th edition the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival theme this year is Alla Turca (in the Turkish style). It will reflect oriental and exotic influences in a colourful variety of composers from our Classical patron to the present day.
