On tour in South Africa
7 musicians from South Africa and France come together to interpret the words of Nelson Mandela's inaugural speech in a special music performance where influences and cultures meet on stage.
Colorful, the music weaves itself together with traditional songs, rock, hip hop, acoustic piano and vice duets.
Initiated as part of the France – South Africa Seasons 2012 – 2013, Under Madiba Skies toured quite extensively in France end of 2013, and was presented at festivals such as Festival Generiq (Mulhouse, Dijon & Besancon) and the Worldstock Fes2val (Paris) before touring South America in 2014.

Gran Kino – France
4 members who are globetrotters. Rock, electro, hip hop, traditional music, the band has decided not to limit their music to a particular kind.
Manelis – Durban, SA
One of the defining artists in this cities Zulu rap development from its beginning in the mid 90's. Draws inspiration from old African flavors. He speaks of the African urban experience on soulful and sometimes experimental instrumental backdrops.
Jitsvinger – Cape Town, SA
Award winning Afrikaans hip hop artist, guitarist and performance poet who combines poetry, self-composed music and theatre. His central focus is to promote and celebrate heritage and culture through popularizing vernacular through poetry, theatre and music.
Ayanda Nhlangothi – Jo'burg,SA
AYANDA NHLANGOTHI is a singer, composer, producer social activist, actress and teacher. Ayanda produces music that reveals the resilient spirit of the African youth. Ayanda can be described as one of South Africa's most versatile upcoming artists.
