"A metaphorical film of rare sensorial power" - Le Monde
"Tey (Today)" - French-Senegalese director Alain Gomis's third feature and the winning film at Fespaco 2013 - is a poetic journey, which takes place during the last day of the main character Satché's life. Accompanied by his friend Sélé, Satché walks through the bustling and changing city of Dakar for the last time, passing and bidding farewell to significant places and people in his life on the way. Satché is played by celebrated American actor/musician/poet Saul Williams and his friend Sélé by Alain Gomis's long-time collaborator Djolof Mbengue.
