About iMPAC
iMPAC is an initiative aimed at fostering the exploratory arm of the motion pictures industry within the African continent. With the understanding that today's exploratory work feeds into tomorrow's mainstream industry, iMPAC's emphasis is placed on innovative thinking and the creative use of available technology.
By initiating an environment in which African filmmakers can be exposed to new ideas, promote and discuss their work and network within the established industry framework it is iMPAC's intention to become the benchmark reference of conceptual thinking within the African audio-visual industry.
The two main components of iMPAC aimed at realising these objectives are:
• The annual Exploring the Moving Image Festival
