On Wednesday 3rd September 2014, the 11th Graders and Cinema Audio-Visual option students attended the exceptional ballet "the Nights", the latest creation of French choreographer, Angelin Preljocaj.

This adaptation of the oriental tale "A thousand and one nights" was the opportunity for students to start the school year with a cultural event. They were able to discover the main character of the tale, Sheherazade, thus described by Prejlocaj "what is amazing in the "A thousand and one nights", is the representation of the character of Sheherazade, who, by her words, her culture and her intelligence, represents a defense against barbarism and questions us about the role of women in our society."

Dazzled by the succession of evocative scenes, the students were also able to think about the language of the body in a performance where every movement is a word.
